Two Tibetan students win laurels from London Metropolitan University

CANBERRA: Two Tibetan students in London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom graduated from the Class of 2010 with honours degrees in their respective courses and awards from the university.

Tenzin Rangdol is a Tibetan scholar since 2007 in London Metropolitan University. Prior to that, he was also the recipient of the Gaden Phodrang award for 1st position in the science field for 2006 among all Tibetan schools in India. He graduated from London Metropolitan University with graduated with a first class honours degree in BSc. (Hons) Computing and Mathematics and also won the “University recognition Award for Academic Excellence, Best first class honours award- Top Twenty student”. He is currently pursuing post graduate studies with MSc. Mathematics in London Metropolitan University, UK.


Tenzin Dolma Dagpo is also a Tibetan scholar since 2007 in London Metropolitan University. She secured 1st position in the science field for 2007 among the TCV schools in India. She graduated with a first class honours degree in BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and was awarded the “Biomedical Science prize” by the university and the Institute of Biomedical Scientists in UK. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies with MSc. Biotechnology in the Australian National University, Australia.
